General Liability
What to do
General Liability incidents may involve injuries to people other than your employees, damage to someone else's property, or complaints related to completed or ongoing work. Examples include a visitor injured at a jobsite, accidental damage to a customer's property, or a demand relating to work performed.
Protect people and the area
Call 911 if needed. Provide reasonable assistance and secure the area to prevent additional injury or damage.
Record the facts
Note when and where the incident happened and what you know. If safe, take photos and get witness names and contact information.
Report promptly
Call (833) 410-3738 or email claims@comeryx.com. Do not wait for a repair estimate, medical bill, or formal demand.
Keep relevant records
Preserve photos, videos, contracts, work orders, communications, and incident reports. Do not discard relevant materials unless safety or law requires it.
Avoid commitments about fault or payment
Be helpful and factual, but do not admit legal responsibility, promise payment, or agree to a settlement on behalf of your insurer.
Forward anything new
Send demands, legal papers, repair estimates, and other correspondence to claims@comeryx.com or to your assigned adjuster. Legal documents may have short deadlines.
Ready to report? For a General Liability claim, fill out the GL claim form. For a spill or other pollution claim, fill out the Spill or Pollution Incident Claim Form and have each witness fill out a witness statement. You can also call or email us.
Pollution / Environmental
What to do
Environmental incidents may involve fuel, oil, paint, solvent, or chemical spills; accidental releases affecting soil, drains, or water; contamination discovered during construction; odors or fumes; or cleanup and regulatory demands.
Protect people and secure the area
Move away from unsafe conditions and call 911 when needed. Do not enter a hazardous area or handle dangerous materials unless trained and equipped.
Limit further impact if safe
Stop the activity causing the release and restrict access when this can be done safely. Do not attempt specialized cleanup without appropriate training and equipment.
Call us for active releases
For an active release or anything needing immediate attention, call (833) 410-3738. Otherwise, call or email claims@comeryx.com promptly. Do not wait for lab results or a cleanup estimate.
Document the incident
Record the date, location, material and amount if known, affected areas, and any third parties involved. Take photos from a safe place.
Check before nonemergency cleanup
Before arranging nonemergency cleanup, call (833) 410-3738 to discuss next steps. Never delay emergency response, containment, or legally required action while waiting on insurance.
Keep records and share notices
Save vendor details, expenses, photos, and documentation. Forward environmental agency notices to claims@comeryx.com or your adjuster. An insurance report does not replace any legal notification requirements.
Spill or release? Complete the Spill or Pollution Incident Claim Form, and ask anyone who saw it to fill out a Witness Statement.

Common Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need all the information first?
No. Report promptly with what you know. Additional details can be provided later.
What if I am not sure the incident is covered?
Report it anyway. Coverage is determined after review of the incident and policy; reporting does not by itself guarantee coverage.
Can I arrange repairs or cleanup?
Take necessary emergency safety or mitigation measures when safe. For nonemergency repairs or cleanup, call (833) 410-3738 or ask your adjuster first.
What if someone demands payment?
Send the demand to claims@comeryx.com or your adjuster promptly. Do not make payment or settlement commitments on behalf of your insurer.
What if I receive a lawsuit or legal papers?
Call (833) 410-3738 right away, then email copies to claims@comeryx.com and note the date you received them. Do not ignore deadlines.
What if one of my employees is injured?
Employee injuries are generally reported through your workers' compensation carrier, not this General Liability process. Contact your workers' compensation carrier for direction.
Ready to report?
Call or email any time, 24/7. You don't need every detail to get started.
This page provides general guidance only. Coverage is determined by the terms, conditions and exclusions of your policy. Reporting an incident does not guarantee coverage, and an insurance report does not replace any legal or regulatory notification requirements.
